How far is the Marriott Cincinnati North from CVG or DAY?From the Cincinnati Airport it is 32 miles which is about 35 minutes away. From the Dayton Airport it is 48 miles and about 50 minutes away. If you need help getting to or from the airports check out the Transportation section or if you can offer a ride to those coming in. (The hotel does not offer shuttle service.)
What are the dining options around the site for RAGT?Friday & Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner are supplied through your registration and with the generous donations from author and publisher sponsors. See the schedule to see the sponsor. For those who wish to meet outside of the scheduled meals, there are many dining options in and around the Marriott.
Does my Unique ID # mean I’m higher or lower in registration?The Unique ID #'s for each registrant are not in numerical order. They are randomly and automatically assigned by the database. Someone with a number higher or lower than yours does not indicate the time that person registered.
How Much is RAGT?Readers pay $75, Authors & Industry pay $125. The registration fee covers all sponsored meals, parties, goodybag, free books, etc...
What if I’m new and I don’t know what I’m doing?We have a welcoming committee and many volunteers who are ready and willing to assist you and, if you like, stick with you until you feel comfortable.
What do I do if I need to cancel my reservation for RAGT19?Please email Lori to cancel. Author & industry cancellation refunds end on April 15, and reader cancellation refunds end May 1 (to ensure there's time to allow those on the waitlist to get in).
What do I do as an Attending Author of RAGT?Everything you need to know is under the Author link, and then Author info. (Note, this info is updated each year for each new event.)
How can I sponsor RAGT19?
Can anyone attend the booksignings or do you have to be registered at RAGT?Yes! The book signings are open to the public on Friday and Saturday. A room is set up for sales of attending authors’ books.
Who will be at RAGT19?There is a full list of authors listed here. However, the event is open to *everyone* until registration is full. It’s mostly readers, with around 100 authors, editors, agents, publishers and other industry professionals. Great news though - the two book fairs are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
What is the purpose of RAGT?It’s first and foremost a way for readers and authors to interact. But as a bonus, it’s also a fundraiser (via raffles and a % of the bookfair sales) for some wonderful causes in and around Lori’s area. See the full list of charities.
