What if I’m new and I don’t know what I’m doing?
We have a welcoming committee and many volunteers who are ready and willing to assist you. There will be a First Timers Welcome & Orientation on Wednesday, June 3rd from 3:30-4:30pm. All new attendees (readers and authors) are invited to meet the key volunteers and learn more about the event, including the panels, board rooms, parties, and book signings.
What do I do if I need to cancel my reservation for RAGT26?
Please email
Rachael to cancel. Author & industry cancellation refunds and reader cancellation refunds end on
April 8
What do I do as an Attending Author of RAGT?
Everything you need to know is on the
Attending Author Info page.
(Note, this info is updated each year for each new event.)
Can anyone attend the booksignings or do you have to be registered at RAGT?
Yes! The book signings are open to the public on Friday and Saturday. A room is set up for sales of attending authors’ books.
Who will be at RAGT26?
There is a full list of authors listed here. However, the event is open to *everyone* until registration is full. It’s mostly readers, with around 60 authors and other industry professionals. Great news though - the two book fairs are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
What is the purpose of RAGT?
At its heart, it’s about creating a community where readers and authors can come together and form life-long friendships.
Who runs RAGT?
In 2025, stewardship of Reader Author Get Together transitioned from founder Lori Foster to Jane Porter, so Lori could focus on her writing. RAGT is now owned and operated by Reader Author Get Together LLC.
